Service
Website design and build
A single landing page is $1,500. A full package, meaning the site, the copywriting, a VSL script and a five email sequence, runs $3,500 to $5,000. The script is optional and without it the package is $3,000 to $4,500.
Both are built as hand written code rather than assembled in a page builder, which is what keeps them fast, and both are written and designed together rather than one after the other.
01
What do you actually build?
Hand coded sites, mostly static HTML or Next.js. Not Wix, Squarespace or a drag and drop builder.
That matters for one practical reason. Layouts that are photography led are heavy, since the picture sizes are usually big, and that is what decides whether a site feels smooth and premium or slow. When the code is yours you control every one of those decisions. In a page builder you negotiate with whatever the tool decides to output.
If you are already on Shopify or a platform you are happy with, that is a different conversation and often the right answer. Tell me what you are on and I will say honestly whether moving is worth it or not.
02
What does it cost?
Landing page
One page, copy and build. $1,500
Starter funnel
Landing page, Klaviyo setup with UTM tracking, five email sequence. $2,800
Full package
Site, site copywriting, VSL script, five email sprint sequence. $3,500 to $5,000
The script is optional. Without it the package is $3,000 to $4,500.
Stay online retainer
Hosting, security updates, three content updates a month. $250 a month
Larger multi page sites, institutions and nonprofits are quoted to scope, because the work is genuinely different. The whole rate card is on the pricing page.
03
Do you write the copy, or do I need to supply it?
I write it. That is the part of this I would not hand off.
A site where the copy arrives after the design is a site where the words get squeezed into boxes somebody already drew. Doing both means the layout can be built around what actually needs saying, which is usually why a page reads well or does not.
If you have copy you are attached to, bring it and I will work with it. But the price assumes I am writing.
04
How long does it take?
A landing page is about a week. A full package is two to four weeks.
As with everything else, the timeline is decided by content rather than build time. Photography, product details, offers and any legal or compliance copy are the things that stall a build, and they stall it on your side. If those are ready, the estimates above hold.
05
What do you need from me to start?
01
What the page is for
One sentence on what a visitor should do. Buy, book, enquire, subscribe. A page with two goals usually achieves neither.
02
Photography
Whatever you have. If you have none, say so early, because that changes the design direction rather than delaying it.
03
Brand basics if they exist
Fonts, colours, a logo. If they do not exist, that is fine, and we start from your existing site or from scratch.
04
Who signs off
One person. Sites slow down when three people review in sequence.
06
What happens after it launches?
The site is yours. Code, content, domain, hosting account, all of it.
If you want it maintained, the stay online retainer is $250 a month and covers hosting, security updates and three content changes a month. If you would rather run it yourself, you can, and I will show you how.
07
Is it built to be accessible?
Every build runs an automated accessibility check before it ships and targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
I do not install accessibility overlay widgets. They do not fix the underlying markup, and the FTC fined one overlay vendor $1,000,000 in January 2025 over claims that its product produced conformance.
